Are you ready to take on an exciting role where you respond to tenders and auctions from brokers and consultants for large business customer retail electricity deals? As a Channel Sales Officer based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our National Channel Manager and fellow Channel Sales Consultants. Your expertise will be crucial in processing and responding to broker quote requests, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.

Reporting directly to the Senior Broker Liaison, you'll be at the heart of our channel sales strategy, making a significant impact every day.


With respect, integrity and honesty, responsibilities include:

  • Manage and respond to tender requests from brokers and consultants.
  • Pursue opportunities to win deals through repricing offers based on market price movements.
  • Promote Shell Energy’s strategic products and points of differences in the market
  • Foster strong relationships with brokers/channel partners and engage via email, phone, and video conference.
  • Meet and exceed team and individual sales acquisition targets.
  • Assist the National Channel Manager with various sales activities.


Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timeframes with great attention to detail;
  • High levels of organisation and time management skills.
  • Tenacity and perseverance – demonstrated eagerness to follow up on opportunities and to not get discouraged by ‘losses’.
  • Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders to achieve performance and quality outputs;
  • Ability to generate timely and accurate retail electricity quotes; and
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience in the Energy Industry is preferred but not essential.
